Google Workspace [Questions 9]
What is Google Workspace?
Google Workspace is the Business/Enterprise version of Gmail, Google Drive, Google Meet and more.
You connect your business domain to it so you can send and receive email in a professional manner, and create a login for each of your staff members.
With Google Drive you can save all of your documentation and information in a place that you can control the visibility and access of data, plus make it available on any platform at anytime, anywhere.
Google Meet is an easy to use online meeting tool with no installation necessary, runs in your browser. Participants don't even need to have a Google account!
Can I cancel Google Workspace at any time?
No. Your contract with Google is for a 12 month commitment. Even if you pay monthly you are committed to 12 months.
How do I get started with Google Workspace?
You can choose a package and sign up from the Google Workspace page.
If you are not confident with domain names and email, then we highly recommend you take our concierge set up option!

I run multiple businesses – do I need separate accounts?
Businesses take many forms and having multiple domain names, brands or separate businesses is common. Google Workspace allows you to connect several domains into the one account so you can send email from any of them, and the recipient will know no different. You can also divide up your staff into those brands (called Organisational Units) and provide different settings and access levels for each brand.
The benefit of this is having the ability to wear multiple business hats but keep control over your business without having multiple logins and subscriptions.
What are my support options?
All of our Google Workspace customers get access to the following:
- Professional support from our Google Certified Collaboration Engineers
- Assistance with adding and deleting users when required
- Updating of groups, changing of members, updating email aliases
- Ticket based support during business hours
- Free Google Workspace 101 training
- Access to hints and tips via our newsletter and YouTube channel
- DNS configuration and domain management
If you have a direct issue and need one to one support you can book a Google Workspace Problem Buster session for $150
If your team is larger or you have specific requirements you can check out our Google Workspace Care Plans
What is a user?
A User is defined as one human being in your organization, and they get their own personalized email address (you@yourcompany). It is best practice to give each person in your company their own login & password, then grant access to email, documents and services as required and provides you with security of your data, and accountability of each user's actions.
Without their own account how would you be able to invite them to meetings, share a contract document with them, give them access to your valuable intellectual property, effectively ensure they are denied access when they leave your employ?
Group email aliases such as sales@yourcompany and support@yourcompany are included in pricing and don’t count as additional users.
How do I buy and pay for Google Workspace?
Get started with Google Workspace immediately by selecting your plan and clicking buy now. We are available on live chat, or book a call with our team to discuss your needs.
We’ll get you set up quickly, and you can pay by credit card or by direct debit monthly or annually.
Your annual contract starts on the lowest number of Users required, and you can increase, paying pro-rata costs for any new Users to the end of your contract term. On renewal of your term we reduce that cost as you reduce your users.
Even if you pay monthly you will have a 12 month annual commitment.
Google is cheaper than you!
Yes, you can go direct to Google and set up Google Workspace. The downside is you’ll be missing out on all of our expertise learned from helping thousand’s of clients over the last ten years.
As a Certified Google Cloud Partner we are reselling their product, and they get most of the cash. As a business we know how important good support is, so we add a small amount on top (which is less than a price of a cup of coffee) for each user per month to your costs to help us provide quality support without you paying the full cost of an outsourced IT support company.
Managed Wordpress Hosting [Questions 7]
What does Managed Hosting mean?
As a managed WordPress host, we take care of a bunch of the technical nitty-gritty stuff, so you can get back to doing what you love and growing your business.
Here are the main benefits of a true Managed WordPress host:
Managed caching and performance: We handle caching for you at the server level, using superfast high frequency CPU servers, and even work individually with our customers to further optimize their sites for the best performance. No caching or performance plugins needed!
Managed security: We have the latest 7G Firewall configured on the server with direct integration to Cloudflare to stop threats before they become a problem. We proactively scan and block malware and hacking attempts. We do all of this at the server level, without the need for any plugins or configuration on your side. And in the unlikely event that your site is hacked, we’ll fix it for you, free of charge.
Managed software updates: We’ll work with you to make sure your site is always running the latest and greatest WordPress software.
Expert WordPress support: Our team of WordPress experts goes above and beyond what nearly any other managed hosting company will help out with. From “hey, I need help, I have a serious problem!“, to “can you recommend a plugin for XYZ,” we’re here to help.
Those are the core pieces of what it means to be a true managed WordPress hosting provider. If you have any questions, let us know!
Why should I not choose WPEngine or Kinsta?
Why would you choose SixFive – and not a brand name Managed WordPress host like Kinsta, WP Engine or Flywheel?
We used to be Flywheel fans, still are to a degree for certain use cases, but here’s the thing – they are all black boxes. They are very opaque about what they provide, and whilst they provide great service and support for keeping your site up and the WordPress core, they can’t help with regards your site plugins, optimisation and development. They do have some maintenance services, but these are largely automated updates.
Their performance / caching systems largely only work for sites where the user does not login – and so e-commerce and membership sites need a much more expensive plan because of the need for more CPU.
They won’t tell you when your site has been hacked, this is up to you to work out. We migrated a site from one of these sites in 2022 and found it had a bitcoin miner on it (!), how long it had been there, we have no idea!
SixFive provides a technology stack as good as, if not better far better than any other big name Managed WordPress host. Our platform will outstrip the performance of large traffic sites and WooCommerce / Education / Membership sites where users need to login, or the pages are different for just that one user.
We don’t have any hard limits on bandwidth, storage or traffic, and we can be very flexible when it comes to upgrades and keeping your site ticking over.
You can choose to host your site where your audience resides, great for speed and user experience, in over 20 countries! Very often these providers lock you in to hosting everything in one country, not great if your audience is international.
Not confident in the regular management, or updating of your site? Our WordPress Care Plans give you the peace of mind that we’re actively looking at your site, and can help you update it as required. We also provide premium plugins at no cost to you!
Will you help me move my WordPress Site?
Absolutely!
We know how painful it can be to move a WordPress site from one server to another, and that’s why we help our customers move their sites – FOR FREE. Whether you’re moving 1 or 100 sites, our migration team will move your site(s) as quickly and efficiently as possible.
All we need is a WordPress Administrator account, and we’ll get your site transferred and set up as a demo site under your account. You can then review it to see how everything performs, and make sure everything is in place!
We’ll even take a walk through it and recommend any changes or updates that may be required to take full advantage of our platform.
Where can you host my website?
The location of your site can have a negative impact on your visitor experience and Google rankings. There are lots of privacy implications about your data location as well, for example if you collect data from EU Citizens you need to ensure that data does not leave the EU, this isn’t just a Privacy Policy issue that can be fixed with legal jargon – it’s a geographical issue.
We can host your site in any of these locations, just let us know where you would like to be!

Will my site be faster with SixFive?
Yes, we know it will.
We’ve spent years architecting our platform to be the speediest option available for Managed WordPress Hosting. In fact, we’re more than happy to move a copy of your site so you can compare it with your current host! If you’re thrilled with the performance, then we can help you choose a plan. 🙂
Here are stats of two sites we moved:
Site: professionalplanner.com.au
Before: 11.32s (Internal managed VPS)
After : 526ms
Site: medic52.com
Before: 907ms (Well known Managed WordPress Hosting provider)
After: 183ms
Oh, and did we mention that your site comes with much, much more than just great speed?
Please note that the way your site is built is also relevant, your plugins and theme play a huge part in the speed of your site. whilst our hosting stack is performant, your site may still feel slow if it's poorly built.
GoDaddy are cheaper and a massive trusted brand
I’ll point you to two pages to explain why this company should not be one you consider doing business with:
- GoDaddy – ProductReview.com.au reviews
- GoDaddy: Hackers stole source code, installed malware in multi-year breach – Bleeping Computer Feb 2023
How does warm failover work?
Warm failover is a high availability setup that keeps a copy of your site on a completely separate location and keeps both up to date on a regular basis.
This is then linked with automatic DNS failover that will switch your DNS records to your backup server if your primary server goes down in a few moments.
You will be required to have your DNS on Cloudflare, and a paid Cloudflare account.
Warm failover is suitable for clients with sites that cannot afford more than a few minutes of outage. This may be because you are implementing significant ad campaign, email marketing and lead generation – any outage will result in loss of a potential client.
Think of it as an insurance policy for catastrophic failure of internet connectivity or server outage.
Note this is not suitable for Ecommerce sites as the time to replicate the data may result in customer and order data being out of sync between the two locations in the event of a failover.
CRM [Questions 3]
How does the 30 day money back guarantee work?
We can set up a lot of your system for you, but there are things you will need to do yourself. This is because we do not have access to your email, social media accounts and calendar.
But don't worry - we'll help you connect all these things in our online course. You will need about 1 hour to complete these steps and will start to see benefits really quickly.
Once you have done these steps you will be able to book your onboarding call with us. We need this to happen like this because we can't teach you or plan for your success without your accounts being connected first!
When do I get my onboarding call?
When you sign up we'll go through and do your initial set up.
When your account is ready you will get to login, and you can sign up to our guided set up course.
Once you have completed the initial part of this course we'll send you a link to book your onboarding call.
We do it in this order to ensure you get the big value from us to plan your automations and strategy, not spending time connecting your social media accounts.
What do you do for me?
We'll configure your account with all the necessary domain settings so you can get to work. This means your emails will have the highest chance of hitting the inbox.
Your initial configuration will also contain:
- Basic email template

ChromeOS [Questions 0]
Email Deliverability & Reputation Management [Questions 3]
How to stop emails from going to spam?
Correct implementation of the SPF, DKIM and DMARC protocols will help your emails make it to the inbox. To stop emails going to spam you also have to assess the quality of your list, the email subject and content plus your previous sending history.
Will this improve email deliverability?
This is the technical part of email deliverability, and it will help your domain build a more reliable, secure reputation as an email sender that leads to a higher chance of your email landing in the inbox. Remeber that there are other factors that can cause email deliverability issues such as the quality of your website, the number of links in your email, the way the email is written and the subject line.
Will this help my email marketing?
Yes we will review your email marketing tool as well when reviewing email security. When dealing with email deliverability we will assess based on your domain name, not just a single tool. This may include a CRM, an email marketing system, billing systems and of course your daily email such as Outlook or Gmail.
