In this video we look at how to set up the ability to open any link you have on a menu in to a new window/tab (depending on the browser behaviour.)
It’s pretty easy, but you have to enable a hidden option in WordPress.
– Go to Appearance – Menus
– Open the Screen Options in the top right of the screen
– Check the box ‘Link Target’
– Open your menu item and you can now check the ‘Open link in a new window/tab’ for that item
– Hit the Save Menu button
– and you are done
