Visible Start

Visible Start runs a returners programme for midlife women, helping talented women get back into work and showing employers the value they bring. As the business grew, they needed a website that explained their programme more clearly, reflected the quality of their work, and supported the systems they use to manage marketing campaigns, contacts, and community activity. Having completed some website work for Visible Start in the past, when it came time for a bigger rebuild, they knew their project was in safe hands with us.

THE PROBLEM

The old setup was starting to show its limits.

Visible Start had grown, but their website and backend setup hadn’t really grown with them. Their existing CRM platform was also no longer a good fit, proving expensive to run and less useful than the team needed it to be. We were tasked with redesigning the site, rethinking the setup behind it, and putting the right systems in place to support their next stage of growth.

Discovery & Strategy

We helped Visible Start figure out what was actually needed, and what would make the best use of their budget. Once we’d done that, we set out the project in clear stages, so they knew what to expect from every step of the process.

Project Management

We used Asana to keep the project organised and visible for everyone involved. That gave both teams one place to track progress, ask questions, and stay on top of what was happening. It also meant questions could be picked up quickly and nothing important got lost in the mix.

Web Design

We worked on the design of the site so everything felt more consistent, professional, and easy to take in. That helped Visible Start communicate their value more clearly and gave them a website that better matched the direction their business was heading in.

Web Development

We handled the build, the coding work, and the technical changes needed to bring the new site together. We sent walkthrough videos showing changes before sign-off, so Visible Start could see what had been done, check they were happy, and approve things before we went live.

CRM Integration

Visible Start had been using a different platform for community and marketing activity, but it wasn’t working well for them. We introduced Go High Level as a better fit and helped them move across to a system that gave them better tools for analytics, campaigns, and database management at a much lower cost.

Training & Support

Alongside the build, we made sure the team felt more confident using what we’d set up. We showed the team how to use the back end, make smaller edits themselves, and understand the wider setup, with custom training videos they could go back to later.
